This week we are highlighting another great Colorado ride, the Pikes Peak (CO) Loop. Not to be confused with the Pike's Peak Route in Iowa!
The Pikes Peak Colorado Loop is located in central Colorado. This out and back loop starts in Colorado Springs at the Garden of the Gods and includes stops at several interesting sites on the way to Pikes Peak and back.
After leaving Garden of the Gods, travel just a short distance before visiting the Manitou Cliff Dwellings. From the Cliff Dwellings, it is just another short ride to the Cave of the Winds. Even if you don’t intend to tour the cave, you should ride up the driveway just for fun.

Driftless Visit!
Since we live so close, the Driftless area is a great weekend getaway. Next weekend we will be heading up to Southwest Wisconsin for a few days of great riding. We will be camping at one of our favorite campgrounds, Woodman Lake Cabins and RV.
We have not finalized any specific roads or rides, but I'm thinking of a ferry ride in either Cassville or Merrimac. Then maybe picking up some apples in Gays Mills. I've also heard good things about the chicken in Rockton, so maybe we will check that out as well.
I'll be riding with my youngest son, so if you see a pair of bikes on the road in Wisconsin next weekend, it might be us!
