Sept. 16th: Wisconsin Triangle Route + More!

Wisconsin Triangle

The Wisconsin Triangle Route is triangular shaped and bordered by the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers in southwest Wisconsin. This route is almost entirely back roads and county roads with only a few excursions onto state highways. Because of this, you should stay on your toes at all times because sudden turns are numerous on this route.

Be sure to bring your camera because the views vary from beautiful river views to hilltop vistas. Along the Mississippi River this route visits the historic towns of Potosi and Casseville. Cassville is home to Stonefield Village and Nelson Dewey State Park. You can also take a ferry across the Mississippi River when the water level permits, but be aware, the road on the Iowa side is gravel for about 1/2 mile or so.

The Wisconsin Triangle Route is special to us because we grew up in this part of Wisconsin. We have probably spent more time riding in this area than in any other part of the Driftless area. In spite of that we always find new things to see and enjoy. You should make it a point to enjoy this wonderful corner of Wisconsin.

Coming Soon!

This week, Renee and I were riding in Northwest Iowa near Spirit Lake. We had a great time and were able to put together a great new Dual Sport ride. We will be releasing it soon, so keep an eye out!
