The Yellowstone North Loop is a complementary route to the Yellowstone South Loop. This route starts and ends in Gardiner, Montana and visits all of the sites in the northern portion of Yellowstone National Park. While the paved riding is spectacular, the route also has a couple of alternative gravel rides available as well. Namely Blacktail Plateau Drive, and Chittendon Road (to Mt. Washburn). This ride, like the Yellowstone South Loop, is amazing, and the sights and points of interest are spectacular. Be sure to bring your hiking shoes because some of the best sights are a little way away from the roads.
