The Wolf Creek Pass Loop is a paved ride located in Southern Colorado.  Starting in Historic Pagosa Springs this loop quickly climbs up and over Wolf Creek Pass.  Take some time to enjoy the San Juan Overlook or hike to Treasure Falls.

 

From the mountain pass and curvy roads, this loop descends into the Rio Grande valley where you can see scrub desert and irrigated crops.   At the Southern end of the valley you can view the historic Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.

 

The final leg of this loop climbs back up to Cumbres Pass where the road  follows the Scenic Railroad to the town of Chama.  Leaving Chama there is one more curvy stretch through the various valleys and canyons leading back to the starting point in Pagosa Springs.
