The Walton Road Byway is a paved ride in Northeastern Tennessee. It follows the path of early settlers across the Cumberland Plateau on their way westward.
The first leg of this ride, from Kingston to Carthage, TN consists of main roads and several towns and small cities. The road is wide and gently flowing with curves and hills. Take the time to enjoy the view from Mt. Roosevelt and hike to Ozone Falls.
The second leg of this ride, from Carthage to Kingston includes some smaller roads and goes through a less congested part of the state.
