The Vienna Wardsville Loop is located in Southeast Missouri.  Starting in Vienna, Missouri, this route starts South and West on paved county roads.  The scenery starts as pastures and fields and quickly turns to a combination of forests and pastures.  Like most of the Ozarks, the roads follow the hilltops and results in a twisty curvy ride all the way to Dixon.
 
From Dixon, the path angles to the Northwest and the curves are mixed in with short straight stretches.  The curves are gentle and the terrain is flowing, but stay alert for the occasional tight corner.  Just before reaching the Osage River, this ride turns to the Northeast to the small town of Meta.  This part of the route, along the Osage River, has tighter curves than the rest of the route to this point.
 
After Meta, the route continues further North to finally cross the Osage River and wind through the hills to Wardsville.  From Wardsville, the path turns West and joins Highway 50 for a short trip to Linn before turning South again.
 
The trip South is just as fun as the trip North was.  The roads are twisty through the gently rolling hills all the way back to the starting point in Vienna.
