The Prescott Loop is a fun ride located in central Arizona.  Starting in Prescott, this route heads South through the rolling hills and valleys before emerging onto the valley floor in Wilhoit.

There is a side trip to Walnut Grove identified along the route, but it is not included because the first ½ mile is not paved.  Eventually riders pass through Yarnell where the road splits and passes by Granite Mountain and the Hotshot Memorial.

After passing Granite Mountain, the road straightens out and crosses the desert before curving and climbing into the hills.  The roads follow the gentle contour of the hills as they cross the Southwest landscape.  Another fun side trip to Bagdad is also identified on this part of the route, so if time allows, riders should take this fun little road.

From the road to Bagdad, the ride alternates between curvy hill roads and valley straight stretches all the way to Kirkland.  From Kirkland, the road follows the railway path through the valley until eventually the road separates from the tracks and heads over the hills and back into Prescott.
