The Orofino North DS Loop is a mixed surface ride located in Northwest Idaho. While we are calling this a Dual Sport loop, the gravel portions make up less than half of the entire ride and are on regularly maintained roads.
Starting in Orofino, this ride quickly climbs out of the Clearwater river valley to the rolling farmlands above the valley and heads South. The road south is fairly straight but eventually turns back north and drops into the Clearwater river valley and the river towns of Kooskia and Kamiah.
The route follows the river until eventually crossing it to climb up to the farmlands above with more fun switchbacks and curves before eventually returning to the starting point in Orofino.
