The Orofino North DS Loop is a mixed surface ride located in Northwest Idaho. While we are calling this a Dual Sport loop, the gravel portions make up less than half of the entire ride and are on regularly maintained roads.
Starting in Orofino, this ride visits the Dworshak Dam and Reservoir before turning North into the rolling farmlands. The ride is fairly relaxed with gentle curves and hills until riders reach the town of Elk River. From Elk River South to the Dent Bridge the road is unpaved and includes many tight curves and elevation changes.
