The Marfa Fort Davis Loop is a paved ride located in Southwest Texas. Starting in Marfa, this loop travels across the open plains before turning into the canyons and valleys in and around the Davis Mountains. There are tons of natural wonders to experience along the way to Mcdonald Observatory and eventually Fort Davis.
From Fort Davis, the ride continues through hills and scrub desert near Alpine and back to Marfa.
Although they are not included in this loop, there are several more sights to view on Highway 90 East of Marfa. If you have the time, head West on US 90 to take in the Stardust Motel Sign, the Great Marfa Mural, the US Border Control Blimp and the Porvenir Historical Monument.
