The Luckenbach LBJ Loop is a paved ride located in the Hill Country of Southwest Texas. Starting on the outskirts of Fredericksburg, this ride follows small, local roads all around the hill country near Fredericksburg, TX.
If you go early in the spring, you are likely to see the Bluebonnets blooming on the Windy City Loop. If you are a history buff, you can experience the past at the Lyndon B. Johnson birthplace and National Historical Park. Be sure to check out the Texas Ranger Heritage Center and Fort Martin Scott. Music buffs will enjoy the sights at Luckenbach Texas.
This ride does not pass through many towns to be sure to start with a full gas tank and top it off when possible. Also, some of the paved roads along this route are chip sealed. This means that the oil/gravel might be updated at any time. Be mindful of the surface as you ride tis loop.
