The Hot Springs Hill City Loop is a great way to see the Southern part of the Black Hills. This ride starts in Keystone and follows Old Hill City Road to Hill City. Next, stop to visit historic Hot Springs, where attractions include: The Mammoth Site, The World Fossil Museum, the Pioneer Museum, 1880s Jail, or Kidney Springs Park and Gazebo. You can also take a side trip to view Historic Battle Mountain Sanitarium.
Leaving Hot Springs, you will travel North to Wind Cave Canyon and the entrance to Wind Cave. You will also pass the entrance to Mount Coolidge. This is a gravel road that you can take to the top of Mount Coolidge for an amazing view of the Black Hills before returning to Keystone.
