The Gunnison East Loop is a paved ride located in Central Colorado. Starting in Gunnison, this ride follows the Gunnison River valley as it twists and climbs to the Taylor River and eventually to the Taylor Park Reservoir. The fun continues as the road climbs up and over Cottonwood Pass. Descending from Cottonwood Pass, the road zigs and zags down into the Arkansas River valley.
From the Arkansas River, this ride turns back West and climbs and winds through the hills and canyons again to cross the mountains over Monarch Pass. Dropping from Monarch pass riders cross the Tomich Creek valley back to the starting point in Gunnison.
