The Fort Collins Loop is a short paved loop near Fort Collins, Colorado that is full of great roads and scenery.  Starting in Bellevue, Colorado, this ride jumps right into the fun with a trip up Rist Canyon.  The road twists and climbs up to a low pass and descends before turning North for more fun on the way to Poudre Canyon.

 

Poudre Canyon contains another fun stretch as the road follows the Poudre River and winds down to the valley and into La Porte.

 

From La Porte, this ride returns to the low hills for a scenic ride along Horsetooth Reservoir.  There are several locations along this stretch that allow access to the Reservoir and multiple hiking trails.

 

This ride eventually turns back North again and climbs up the twisty roads and eventually ends up with a fun trip back down Rist Canyon to the starting point in Bellevue.
