The East Tennessee Crossing Scenic Byway Loop is a paved ride in Eastern Tennessee.
Starting in Hot Springs, NC, this loop follows the Dixie Highway through the Eastern tip of Tennessee. For the most part this is a wide flowing road that follows the curves and hollows of various streams and rivers.
In Harrogate, TN, this loop jumps off of the Dixie Highway and enters the Trail of the Lonesome Pines. This part of the ride is made of smaller, 2 lane roads which include tighter turns and switchbacks as well as steeper hills and valleys.
