The Doswell Chesapeake Loop is located in Eastern Virginia. Starting near the Meadow Event Park at Doswell, this route heads Northeast across the Rappahannock River before turning to the Southeast and the Chesapeake Bay coast.
In White Stone, the route travels to the coast at Windmill Point. Take a few minutes to enjoy the Bay view before returning to White Stone. From White Stone, the path continues South to Gloucester and then turns back Northwest toward Doswell.
This route wanders through the countryside and small towns of Eastern Virginia. The scenery ranges from farmland to forest to river and estuary to the expanse of Chesapeake Bay. This is a great ride to take if you want to experience Eastern Virginia and take in Chesapeake Bay.
