The Calico Rock Loop is located in Northeast  Arkansas.  It begins in Calico Rock and weaves North to Viola.  From Viola the route turns West and zigzags until it crosses Norfolk Lake, where it quickly turns North and crosses the lake again.
 
After crossing the lake and passing the Three Rivers Biker Church, the route weaves along the ridgetops northeast to the Missouri border and the town of Bakersfield.  From Bakersfield, the path continues East and meanders through fields and forests until turning South again on 17.  Highway 17 turns into 395 after crossing back into Arkansas to twist and curve all the way to Salem, AR.
 
From Salem, the road becomes a little straighter and opens up to farmland all the way to Melbourne and then the curves increase again on the way to Mountain View.  After Mountain View, this route turns North for a short trip through the Ozark National Forest on the way to the starting point in Calico Rock.  Motorcycle Rides, Arkansas, Missori, Bakersfield, Viola, Salem, Oxford, Koshkonong, Brockwell, Melbourne, Guion, Mountain View, Calico Rock, Ozarks
