The Burr Trail DS Loop is an amazing mixed pavement ride in southern Utah.

Leg 1 of this trip starts in Hanksville and heads South through the desert toward Bullfrog Bay.  Before reaching Bullfrog, this route turns back towards the scenic cliffs of Pioneer Mesa.  Eventually the pavement gives way to gravel and the Burr Trail switchbacks.  At the top of the switchbacks the ride eventually turns back to pavement and enters Long Canyon before eventually reaching the town of Boulder, UT.

Leg 2 of this trip starts in Boulder, UT and heads North through the forested landscape to Torrey.  From Torrey, the ride turns East and enters the incredibly scenic Capitol Reef National Park.  While riding through the park there are many sights and pull offs as well as opportunities to hike to more scenic areas.  This ride takes a short out and back trip to Capitol Gorge and the Grand Wash and might include more non-paved miles.  The amazing scenery extends all the way to the endpoint in Hanksville.
