Sept. 23rd: Eau Claire (WI) and Branson West Loop + Lots More!

Eau Claire (WI) Route:

The Eau Claire Route is another route located on the edge of the driftless area just south of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.

Located primarily in the Chippewa River valley, this route has more open sweeping curves than tight twisties. Although this route is named for the city of Eau Claire, the route barely ventures into the city itself. The Eau Claire Route is a gateway route for riders from northeast Wisconsin and certainly for riders from the Eau Claire area and it includes access to Wisconsin Rustic Road #107.

Branson West Loop:

The Branson West Loop is located West of Branson in Southern Missouri. This route starts near the Dewey Short Visitor's Center on Table Rock Lake and heads Northwest around the top of the lake. Next, riders travel West into Mark Twain National Forest.

Near Cassville, Missouri, the route turns South and winds around on some great roads until it crosses the Arkansas state line and eventually ends up in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

After Eureka Springs, you will continue along the hills and valleys before crossing Kings River and turning back North to Berryville and the Missouri state line. Then, it's back to your starting point at Table Rock Lake.

Web Page Updates:

Renee and I are working on some ideas for upgrades to our website. We recognized that with the current website layout, it is difficult to determine where the actual routes are located. We have had several riders comment on this issue so we are hopefully going to make this improvement over the winter. Thanks for your patience as we work on this new function.

Driftless Challenge:

September is almost over, but there is still time to enter the September Driftless Challenge. Remember, all of the monthly prize winners are put into a drawing for the Grand Prize at the end of the year. You have to enter to win!!
