Today's highlighted route travels over some of the best roads in 3 different states, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
The Hiawatha Loop was created to visit some of the best paved roads in the Driftless Area of the Tri-State (Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin). In addition to the fun (paved) roads, you can view the Mississippi River Valley from both Mt. Hosmer (Lansing, IA) and Granddad Bluff (LaCrosse, WI).
After taking in the spectacular views, you will round out your day with a trip through the popular Mindoro Cut.

Ride with Dale Update:
Last week we mentioned that Dale will be in Southwest Wisconsin during the first week in August and looking for some riding partners. He has firmed up the details a bit and here they are:
Thursday, August 3rd: Meet at the Zip Stop in Westby, WI at 9:30. Leaving around 9:45 for a fun ride on parts of the Black Hawk Trail and Wildcat Routes. Lunch will be at the Riversend in Ontario.
Friday, August 4th: Meet at the BP/Dairy Queen in Peosta, IA at 9:30. Leaving around 9:45 for a fun ride on part of the Balltown Dreams Route. Lunch will be at Brietbachs in Balltown.
This is a fun ride, no cost, other than your gas and what you spend on food and drinks. Also, this is not a guided tour, just a fun ride with some friends. Both rides are designed to be paved rides, but if we encounter some construction or other issues, we will make adjustments on the fly.
